I have been racking my brain trying to figure out a good way to start the challenge. I could do something really dramatic and huge and enter with a bang... but I'm not going to. Every little bit counts, and I have to start somewhere, so here I am. We went to a New Years Eve party at a friend's house here in town. In spite of the fact that with the wind chill it is -39 degrees Celsius, we decided to walk there instead of taking the car. It would not be very environmentally of me to start the car when we leave our place (and their's) and let it idle for 15 minutes to make the 30 second drive.
For the rest of the year, if I need to get somewhere in town, I will walk instead of drive.
