Day 26- Lay Off The Newspaper

Unfortunately we received some bad news today. The company at which my husband works had no choice but to do some lay offs and he was among those who were let go. Since I am at home with our daughter, I do not make a wage. My only source of income is my Etsy shop (which has been very neglected the past couple months). So, with that, one (possibly both?) of us must start the job search. I would like for it to be as green (and quick!) as possible, therefore I am relying on the internet to search help wanted ads instead of the newspaper.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you guys! I'm about to be out of work myself so I'm in the same boat. Check out jobbank.gc.ca to search for jobs by region. Good luck!

Good luck to your husband. I think using newspapers for job searching is so outdated. There are a bazillion sites to use. Speaking from personal experience, I find that Indeed.org is the best, it's like a Google for job postings.
