Day 27-A Slap In The Facebook

Remember on Day 21 when I said I was going to make sure that my laptop was turned off when it is not in use? It has been a bit tricky remembering, but I've been following through with it. The only problem is that I'm pretty much always using my laptop. For what? FACEBOOK. It has become an obsession. If I'm not on my laptop checking it out, I'm using the Blackberry and iPod application to check it out. It is ridiculous.

I feel that it has become unhealthy. Not only is it taking up far too much of my time, it also requires energy to power the laptop I use to be on the site all the time. I am having to charge my Blackberry and iPod more often because the power is being drained.

So, I have deactivated my account. I will not be using Facebook at least until my green challenge is over, maybe longer. If you need to get a hold of me, send me an email or give me a call. Goodbye, Facebook.
