Day 28- The Third "R"

Today, my eco friendly act for the day is taking my cans and bottles to the recycling depot. Something simple, something I've always done, something I will continue to do. I am horrified at the number of bottles and cans I see laying on the streets or being thrown into the garbage can. I urge you to save those bottles and cans and take them to your nearest recycling depot. If you don't have time to recycle them yourself, save them for group fundraisers who often do bottle drives to raise money.

You can also help by picking up ones that you see littered on the street. My town has an annual town wide clean up. People sign up to clean a certain area (of their choosing) in April, after the snow has melted and the weather is nicer.
