Day 31- Ziploc Bags

I try to limit my use, but I sometimes use Ziploc bags if a reusable container won't work for whatever I'm doing. When possible, I will be washing the Ziploc bag out and reusing them (unless it was used to store raw meat). Even if I can get only a couple uses out of it, it is sure better than just throwing out a perfectly good bag.

If you wish to do the same, here's a tip:
Take two used bags and flip them inside out. Slide your hand into the opening like a pair of mitts then run your hands under warm water and wash your hands as you normally would. This will get the bags nice and clean. Once you're done, leave them inside out and set them on a dish rack to dry.
