I've decided that since Valentine's Day is this weekend, my green changes and actions should center around love!
My husband almost always buys me roses for Valentine's Day. It is always very much so appreciated. I certainly didn't want to sound ungrateful or bossy, but today I told Andrew that if he planned to buy me roses this weekend (which I did not expect him to), that I would prefer a locally grown, organic arrangement. My husband is definitely not a mind reader, so I told him what I wanted. No harm in that, right? I have also decided that next time I purchase flowers for someone else, it will meet the same criteria as the request I made to my husband, organic and local.

Nicole,
I think that is a great idea, and since Andrew almost ALWAYS buys you roses the subtle yet forward hint suits perfectly. Plus I find that local florists usually have unique arrangements and they always smell better. Here is to a scentfully delicious home!

He could also buy you a pot of planted roses. My husband knows by now that I only like planted flowers and not cut ones. Cut ones seem like such a waste to me.
