My husband had a day out with friends today, so I was alone this afternoon into supper time. As I was eating, I looked up at the light I had on above the dining room table. I started wondering if I really needed the light on. It would save a lot of energy if I didn't use it. The sun was already getting a bit low, so without a light it was a little darker than I'd prefer. Then I thought how nice candlelit meals always are. So, from now on, rather than wasting the power required to use the lights, I will have all my meals by candle light. It will be so much more romantic when it isn't just me eating home alone with candles lit!

beautiful! i do love candle light. same with lamp light, but i would prefer things to be this way in the same way you do. just feels so much nicer and saves power!
